Urban Agriculture includes all types of production systems, big or small, that happen to be in/near urban locations.
This is a 5-course certificate with each course lasting for one month. It is an on-line, work-at your own pace course, so there is no need to drive to a classroom. The first course is an overview of urban agriculture, the second course is about growing in dirt, the third is about growing using greenhouses and hydroponic systems, the fourth is about turning your idea into a business, and the fourth is a short 2-week practicum with a local grower. The certificate is very "hands-on" and it will be a lot of fun. Each course costs $500 and the first course starts June 1st, 2023.
