Community Futures was established by the federal government to address economic uncertainy for rural communities in BC by providing entrepreneurial and community development. 34 locations are listed on the website along with a tool matching up rural communities with their nearest location. The initiative provides small business loans up to $150 000 with flexible repayment schedules, as well as self-empoyment program for those currently or recently on EI.
