The Bauta Family Initiative on Canadian Seed Security is a national program to build a resilient seed supply across Canada. Their objectives are to: expand the production and conservation of high quality, regionally adapted, ecologically grown, Canadian seed; and build ongoing collaboration among individuals and organizations committed to advancing an ecological and diverse seed system in Canada.
They have three funding streams: Local Seed Training and Exchange Fund, Public Access and Regional Seed Diversification Fund, and the Seed Facilitation Fund: Scaling Up and Bulking Up Ecological Vegetable Seed and Grains. Check out their website for funding opportunities and deadlines.
