The fund supports business opportunities that are higher risk and may not offer adequate financial returns to an investor, but will benefit Basin residents and communities in some other way. For example, it may create jobs, address a community need, help the environment or support arts and culture. This program is delivered by Community Futures and Heritage Credit Union. You must represent a for-profit, non-profit, social enterprise, First Nation business or start-up located in the Basin. The investment opportunity must demonstrate significant positive impacts in the Basin. Contact your nearest Community Futures office or Heritage Credit Union.
