The Pemberton Creek Community garden is a volunteer led, organic community garden located on public land in Pemberton near the Pemberton Creek bridge accessing One Mile Lake Park. The garden began in 2005 as a Village of Pemberton initiative with a mere 20 plots. Over the years, the garden has become an independent entity, and joined forces with Stewardship Pemberton. A volunteer committee organizes the affairs of the garden, which includes sign-up events and fundraisers every spring, speaker nights, educational garden tours and clean-up days.
