Richmond Foodland Asset Report

Located in Lower Mainland - Fraser Valley
In 2012, the Richmond Food Security Society (RFSS) conducted a research project that would identify lands available in Richmond for food production activities (e.g. community farms, gardens, schoolyard gardens, pocket markets, small to medium scale farms, etc…). Download the full report at the link provided. RFSS has identified over 638 properties that could be used for a variety of food activities. In addition, RFSS interviewed a diversity of key experts (e.g. farmers, academics, school district reps) to determine how to improve land access and land availability in Richmond for farmers and other food production activities.
