Farm management (3 years or less) - In the fall of 2015, I worked with a farmer to become his farm manager for the 2016 season. This past March (2017), I jumped into the role of farm manager for an urban farm. The whole infrastructure of the farm was already in place and the crop planning and seed order were also done by the previous farm manager.
General farming (3 years+) - I have 5 years of employment in the agriculture industry. I have been farming every summer and a few winters! I have been the manager of two different farms these past two summers.

No - I am just in the beginning stage of realizing my dream of having my own farm. I realize that I will need outside money such as grants and loans, but I have also been able to put some savings aside to help me launch this project!
