Soil is being improved as we go, this is third year of food production. Garden areas are supplemented with compost generated by farm animals. Pasture chickens fertilize food forest during summer months.
Description and historical use of land available for farming
Was a small dairy (less than 12 milkers) in the 70's, many older barn and shelter buildings. We purchased property in 2014 and have started a comprehensive permaculture plan.

Yes - Farm has rood running through middle of property called Wellbanks Road. Property has a number of trails criss crossing the property likely due to past logging that occured.

Yes - The main farm is totally off grid. We have a farm workshop that is hooked up to the grid.

Yes - Coverage from cell tower about 5km away. Property accesses internet with high speed satellite.
