Lost Savanna Farm is a diverse Certified Organic & Demeter farm on Vancouver Island. We are an animal pasture based farm focused on regeneration via soil building.
We are accepting applications for the 2018 season for a 3-4 month apprentice for July, August, September and October.
The successful candidate will work alongside farm owners in all aspects of the farm including but not limited to:
-pasture based animal systems
-orchard maintenance
-market garden
-new projects (building and land prep)
We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, who is a quick learner and who can put in 6 solid hours a day efficiently.
Apprentices will work a 5 day/week 8am-12pm and 1pm-3pm schedule. Weekends off. Simple accommodations and the most delicious organic farm raised food will be prepared and served.
