The Kootenay & Boundary Farm Advisors (KBFA) works one-on-one with agricultural producers in the East and West Kootenay and the Boundary regions of BC, to identify challenges, coordinate and facilitate connections with agricultural expertise, and provide producers with information and resources that support their farm business.
The KBFA program is new and developing in response to the needs of producers. The KBFA team of general advisors works with producers to identify their needs and connect them to the most relevant and useful resources in a continually evolving network of agricultural specialists and experts.
KBFA is a regional partnership between three regional districts — Central Kootenay, East Kootenay, and Kootenay Boundary — and Columbia Basin Trust. The program is administered by Keefer Ecological Services.
