Apprenticeship - I spent a month on a private homestead working and learning about plants for eating and healing.
General farming (3 years or less) - As a Guide in remote wilderness locations, I've had to feed many people. On a small island in the Johnstone Strait, I tended an organic garden for the sole purpose of nourishing all who visited.
Other experience/agricultural/business training - I have a College Diploma in Wilderness and Adventure Tourism, which I eventually plan to translate into active Agricultural and Ecological Tourism on my farm/ranch.
