Farm Project Description
Intensive permaculture farm with around 40 types of vegetables, fruit trees, honey production and possibly some animal agriculture. Additional production of niche products, such as mushrooms, nursery stock. Significant emphasis on ecological restoration - I will incorporate water features, wild areas and productive hedgerows, in addition to vegetable fields and hoophouses, to meet both human and natural needs. I am a landscaper and plant expert. I am also a winemaker and in the long-term may open a commercial fruit winery, after the farm is established. CSA customers will pick up their share weekly from a stand on the farm. We will require housing on the farm.
