State of the surface of the cultivable area

We have approximately 20+ acres of unused, retired hay fields (currently unfenced but fence-able) and about 2 1/2 acres of cultivated land. 1 acre is a now defunct hop yard, (the hops didn't thrive here), still set up with poles and irrigation. Something great could happen there. Water is plentiful, coming from the mountain creeks nearby, in buried pipes so it's available all year long. We live off the grid and generate our own power but it really doesn't feel as off grid as one might expect! The only things we can't have are electric heat, hair dryers or electric clothes dryers! Our straw bale, earth plastered home was built by us and many volunteer hands. We have satellite internet but no cell service. There is a cabin with electricity available, currently one room but about to be renovated to include an 8x8 kitchen and loft. One would have to be comfortable using an outhouse, but bathing and laundry can happen in the main house by agreement. 45 minutes outside of Lillooet, BC on unceded St'at'imc territory.

Long-term goal or vision for land

An opportunity for someone who is looking to grow food or raise livestock on a small-ish level. My husband has recently launched an organic coffee roasting company (vastmountainroasting.com), and I have a small home based herbal medicine business (gilliansherbs.com) as well, both of which someone could help us with if they were so inclined. We both work away from home to make ends meet, so we're looking for another adult to help us a little, but who would also create or take on their own income generating project for themselves. The possibilities are endless.
