    Farm Name
    Farm Project Description

Long term, able to live on the property in our motorhome with potential to build home, space to grow all our own vegetables and space to start grains, the grain space can be small as we can rent bigger fields in the area if necessary, we just require and acre or two to start our seed and increase it as we naturalize it to local conditions.

    Land & Features Desired

    Total Land Size (acres)
Ideally, up to 30 acres flat and arable, but very flexible. There is always a field around to rent for larger scale growing of grains. Minimum is probably 2 acres.
    Wooded Area (acres)
Yes - Always good as we use firewood and can mill lumber.
    Cultivable Area (acres)
No grass and covered in rich composted manure; no rocks or sticks; flat; black rich soil never touched with chemicals - so that's the ideal. The reality is we make it work with whatever conditions we encounter. We have lots of experience developing couch grass packed soil full of rocks into nice wormy garden soil.
Possibility to expand area currently available (acres)
Yes - Minimum 2 acres. Room to grow is always good, but we only use what we need and aren't interested in going really big, just enough to provide a decent income stream for the family and the farm.
    Zoning
Preferred current state of the surface of the cultivable area

Open to landowner residing on property
Yes - We prefer to share land with other people, owners or not, who love the land and plants and are fun and down to earth.
    Need farm buildings
Yes - Sure, all farms need buildings. we build what we need if they are not already there.
    Need fenced land
Yes - Only if there are deer and other animals around who like to eat our lettuce and kale.
    Need farm machinery and tools
Yes - Yes; what farm is complete without a bunch of equipment to repair every winter. Seriously, great if there is stuff already there but we will supply ourselves if necessary.
Need established water source and infrastructure
Ideally, a gently sloped land with a creek and an area to dig a big pond uphill that gravity feeds the farm crops. Grains don't need a lot of water and nature should supply that, the veggie garden will need enough pressure from some clean source to run a few sprinklers.
    Need on-site housing
No - We have our own accommodations for year round living.
    Production type
      Type of agriculture
        Soil needs
The best black rich deep rock free, but anything will do. We are soil builders; we just need land to do it on.
        Will acquire commercial insurance
        No
