Description and historical use of land available for farming

Our land has been leased to the same farmers for the last 22 years. They are retiring at the end of this season. They have taken excellent care of the land, employing organic practices to plant and manage the orchard that consists of 3 types of cherries (approx. 120 Rainier trees, 600 Lapin trees and 200 Sweetheart trees) and 200 Nectarine trees. The cherry trees were planted in 1998 and the nectarines were replanted in 2014.

Our long term goal for our land is to remain certified organic in farming practices and to find a like minded partner that is interested in leasing our land with the intent to either take over the existing orchard or replant. Owners are open discussing options.
