Farm Project Description
The idea is to create a sustainable system of largely perennial food crops with the involvement of livestock in a silvopasture type design. Water management, biodiversity, native plants, land health, soil building, and resource production in the form of food, lumber, fuel, and energy are top priorites.
Many aspects can be involved such as water catchment, food forest, timber/coppice forest, market garden, grazing pasture, greenhouse, nurseries, and natural building such as timber frame structures.
