Foraged strives to be the leading provider of fungi products and services in Vancouver and surrounding areas. We specialize in outdoor mushroom cultivation. We offer products and services to individuals, organization and businesses interested in growing fungi; indoors, outdoors or anywhere else you'd like! We encourage our community to experiment with various mushrooms in their kitchen and in their garden by offering educational and culinary products. Our speciality is in education and capacity building, strain selection, and outdoor mushroom farms. Currently, we have over 30 unique strains at our lab space and are building out a mobile mushroom lab to facilitate courses and offer on-site services. We are looking to partner with a farm near Vancouver or on the Sunshine Coast to park our mobile mushroom lab in spring 2021 and grow mushrooms, primarily in outdoor cultivation methods. We would like to add our mushrooms to an existing CSA or farm co-op. This preliminary research will help us develop a feasibility report for larger outdoor mushroom farms in Vancouver (we already know its feasible on the east coast) and allow us to understand what scale is possible.
