I’m working with a small team of educators and educational leaders to start a regenerative agriculture school and/or educational agritourism community. There is a great need, and growing demand, for this type of education combining time-tested pedagogies and practices with modern educational curricula and innovations. Our team is passionate about education, sustainability, the outdoors, our beautiful planet, and being in good relations with communities and the land. We want to invest in a place, leverage it for education, and live there for the long term.

We have many years of experience in one of the most compelling education movements in the world - https://www.uwc.org/ - which has 18 colleges around the world and draws students from over 160 countries, most of whom are on a scholarship.
Our vision exists at three levels as below. All are aimed at regenerative agriculture, sustainable practices, community-based & place-based learning and living, experiential education, and outdoor & ecological education. Our students can be counted on to take real responsibility to help run the facility. For models that inspire us, see https://www.deepsprings.edu/ and https://secmol.org/.
1) Phase 1 (summer 2021)
1 to 3 month program for 12 to 20 students, depending on the land partners we work with. We are looking to rent (or profit share) a property with basic facilities to run regenerative agriculture and sustainability field work, and access to regional outdoor activities.

2) Phase 2: (2022 onwards)
9 month program 'gap year' style program for 12 to 40 students, extended versions of the above with similar requirements.
3) Phase 3: long term goal.
A boarding school eco-community, for 50 to 120 grade 11 and 12 students, from countries around the world. For phase 3 we will be looking at a co-operative ownership structure, with three types of partners contributing equity as below to develop facilities for a medium sized land-based community.
a) Land (this is you)
b) Labor ("sweat equity" - this is us)
c) Financial working capital ("investor" or donor)
