Each day in our gardens is a little bit different... Our outdoor program adapts to the natural pace of the children or youth (preschool to highschool), allowing them to explore their interests to the fullest. The Gardens at HCP are our classroom and we explore all of it; from the native plant and ethnobotany trails to the surroundings forests. As this program takes place at a community hub, we often get the opportunity to learn directly from master gardeners, horticulture teachers and students and other local land-based educators.
Our goal at HCP Kids is to help the participants to foster an appreciation for the natural world.
