A small scale organic flower operation growing a diverse variety of annuals and perennials for both fresh and dried local distribution.
Responsible growing and business practices are central to the vision of the farm- offering organic and responsibly grown seasonal flowers is the mission.
The farm will rely on multiple sales outlets and income streams- selling wholesale, direct to consumer markets, and in-house design. Because the farm business will offer sustainable floral design services as well as workshops, clients will need to be able to tour the farm while planning for their events and come to the farm for on-site workshops. Depending on location, a farmstand could also be an option as well as the farm being an event site.
The farm will start small and will require both field space and greenhouse/hoophouse infrastructure. Potential space to expand is important for the long term future of the business.
