Project

Farm Name
Unity Farms
Farm Project Description

Our farm's main focus will be on the production and distribution of organic micro greens and gourmet mushrooms, grown in an indoor greenhouse for year-round production. We will also provide various fruits, vegetables, and canned goods to local markets, grocery stores and restaurants. Our farm will consist of small scale green houses, vegetable gardens, berry patches and orchards. We will also incorporate farm animals such as chickens for eggs, and goats or sheep to help fertilize soil and create balance within the farm. Our passion as farmers is to live in harmony with the land and to improve the land in every way possible. We will do this by practicing permaculture techniques and supporting bio diversity within our cultivable area. This includes bee keeping as well as planting various flowers, trees, shrubs, herbs, wild edibles, and other beneficial perennials.
