Farm Project Description
We are a family-run 'edible landscaping' business based in Victoria, BC. We design & build food gardens & orchards for clients in the Capital Region.
What We’re Looking For
- 0.25 acre - 2 acres of farmland in Saanich, BC
- year round access (good road-based trail)
- privacy or distance from residences
- possibly a place where we could place a ‘tiny-home office’ (not for continuous residence) not crucial
- a barn/garage is a bonus, but not necessary
- a place where our edible landscaping crew can:
- meet several times per week (during business hours)
- neatly store tools and earth materials (mulch)
- build 1-3 simple post and beam garden structures (less than 110 sq ft)
- grow a big staple crop garden for our crew and for donation to worthy causes
- maintain an edible plant nursery or both ‘healed-in’ edible perennial crops and potted plants
What We Can Offer
- 2-3 Year Lease Agreement, paid monthly, to be negotiated
- to be respectful and very tidy with the space
- to build soil better than we found it
- to manage weeds
- no dwelling or living on site
