I am seeking capital to begin a small mushroom production to bring food (and medicine) to the mainland. ( LM & HT)
Ive been battling Lyme disease for the last decade. I've learned just how important and beneficial food can be.
Through careful, extensive research. I found my call.
As mentioned, Im currently climbing back up from losing Everything to this Illness. Ive tried to find ways to start something from nothing but this disease is "limiting".
I chose mushrooms for several reasons. Not only are they food, they are also effective medicines that would help myself and so many others . Also, it's something I'm physically capable of doing without the need of assistance ( which holds a lot of value to a person who could barely get out of bed for 5 years)
The two mushrooms I have chosen to begin with are lionsmane and horsetail. Lion's mane is showing great benefits to anyone suffering dementia and more and is a great cognitive supporter.
Horsetail has been proven to "uncloak" cancer and assist our immune system in destroying it (im hoping to "uncloak" the spirochetes hiding in any one of three physical form it can take to protect itself)
And finally, there is little to no waste. Even the used blocks of substrate can be beneficial in removing toxins from properties and environmental catastrophes. NOTHING IS WASTED.
I'm hoping to find enough capital for a small space and the equipment I am still left to collect before I can begin.
I can think of no better purpose than to bring healthy beneficial foods to my community at affordable and accessible costs.
