My business plan will include the following: growing and selling organic vegetables, fruits and nuts growing, harvesting and collecting herbs, plants and flowers for their healing and nutritional properties which will be sold in various forms such as teas, tinctures, bath tea, face creams, lip balms. It consists of the following components: - growing, selling and drying organic, fruits, vegetables and nuts - growing, harvesting and collecting herbs, plants and flowers for their healing and nutritional properties which will be sold in various forms such as teas, tinctures, bath tea, face creams, lip balms - preparing the land, building the greenhouses, the seeding, growing, harvesting, production, sales and distribution of products. However, the business aspect will not be the entire focus of my plan. I intend to share what I produce with surrounding communities in order to create a sustainable food source and a means to barter for trade. Also I work in environmental remediation, stewardship, planning, protection, sustainability, mitigation and consulting. I am a trained professional in these and other areas and have quite a number of certifications. I am 100 per cent interested in rehabilitating land I am living on in order to create a sustainable environment. My daughter is also trained in the field and currently collects, harvests and dries various seeds for storage and reproduction. I do not require housing as I have two prospectors tents and a small utility trailer. I would need to build an outhouse if there are no existing water or wastewater services. I really would not require anything from the landowner other than land to live on with a sustainable water source such as a lake, river or stream. I am also planning to have a few livestock for personal use including horses, goats, sheep and chickens. I do have dogs. I am hoping to find a more remote location surrounded more by wilderness, forests and near either a river or a lake. However, I am flexible in this stipulation and some aspects of my plan. The land does not have to be serviced necessarily with municipal services such as water, electricity, internet etc.
It would be great if the land was cleared and ready to plant with a barn, chicken coop, outhouse and fence. However, I am willing to work and build these structures myself. I would also need to build deck/floor structures for my tents. I would be willing to work the land if required unless heavy machinery is needed. I do have my excavator license and own a chainsaw and other tools necessary to build.
