  • General farming (3 years+) - We worked an entire season at a vineyard & winery in the Okanagan Valley. Microgreen's & sprouts greenhouse in Ontario. Watermelon & peppers farm in Jamaican red soil. Hydroponics in geodesic dome self sustaining off grid greenhouse. Propagating and grafting new fruit tree's like Cherries, Haskap, Seabuckthorn etc. Super berry orchard. Potatoes. Chicken's & Llama's in Northern BC.
  • Other experience/agricultural/business training - All of our farming experience was through work exchanges made possible by platforms like Workaway.info & Wwoof.ca. We do not desire this arrangement anymore and are ready to apply what we learned to our own lives.
Do you have a business plan?
No - We are hobby farmers and have experience with permaculture and small crop production. So leasing additional farm land is in the works for 2023. We would like to take the year to study the property to determine if their is potential to start growing food there to sustain ourselves with intent to lease more land in the near future.

Farm Project Description

We currently reside & work in the city of Prince George and are seeking for space on an acreage to park our converted off grid school bus. It is only 1/2 way done and we need a space we can complete it outside of city limits. Due to our schedule, we will periodically be stopping by to work on it and also would like to bring our camper to stay overnight during those occasions. We can power ourselves off grid through our generator but would plug in if was an option.
