Wild Embrace Farm
Farm Project Description

Wild Embrace Farm hopes to be an innovative farm education space focused on equity, sustainability, and resilience. Programs would focus on gardening, cooking, art, and animal husbandry as alternative therapies to heal, build confidence, and foster a sense of belonging for equity-seeking populations. Core programs centered around agriculture and horticulture include after school programs, respite care for children and youth with high needs, group events for neurodivergent or queer young adults, and workshops for people of colour. As part of their education and to promote healthy food options in the area, a 12 week CSA box will be created with an emphasis on heirloom, unique, and culturally significant crops.
