We are interested in making high quality cider at a more artisanal level, using wild yeast and keeping the process as natural as possible, using primarly apples and experimenting with different fruits and maceration. We have been making cider on the South of Vancouver Island at a small scale, and are looking for a place where we could expend. It would be ideal if there was a building/workshop to use for cider with a house and living space nearby. We'd like to be able to cultivate our own apples and some of our fruits in time as well as incorporating foraged wild apples. For the upcoming fall 2022, access to apples would be a plus, but not necessary with the time frame.
Although cider would be the main focus, we'll also be looking to make beer at an artisanal level incorporating agricultural products, wich we're already produced a few batches.
We are preferably looking around Vancouver Island but could also be open to some areas of the Kootenays and North Okanagan nearby a city or village it this was a good fit, and open to different kinds of agreement depending on the place and people.
