Farm Project Description
Our plan at the moment is to recieve a loan from parents as an investment oppertunity for us to either purchase or lease a small farm and run sustainable farming practices on that land. We lack any previous experience aside from what we've researched online, so a mentorship program would be ideal. We are planning to take some private courses locally to gain some much needed skills, but we do have some basic ideas down already. We know we want a small flock of chickens at the start, and we also want goats or cows for sustainable grazing, we also hope to create a forest garden as well. We also intend to grow vegetables and fruits, specific crops are dependent on the land.
We also plan to develop the land by building some chicken coops, as well as use regenerative farming to improve the soil.
