We're seeking experienced or educated farmers, with sustainable farming plans, who share our vision of developing this land. We're open to all kinds of farming - haying, grazing animals, a field of vegetables, and community garden plots, as long as the farmers are following organic and sustainable practices (i.e. no pesticides, please). Description and historical use of land available for farming
The property was the landholder's childhood home - a family homestead, including vegetable gardens and livestock pastures. The land was hayed since then, but has sat fallow in recent years, turning into a wild meadow. Historically speaking, there are remnants of potteries, etc. suggesting Asian settlement on the land.
