State of the surface of the cultivable area

4 years of intense market gardening. Last year the ground was left fallow. We have only used organic compost & fertilizer to amend it.

Description and historical use of land available for farming

The farm is setup with 23 field blocks of that are 42.5’x50’ independently irrigated (computer controlled). There are woodchip pathways around each field block. A 24th block can be added. We have an indoor washing area, a 10x10 walk in cooler, and a proper storefront on busy Aberdeen Road. We have a list of former CSA customers and a list of customers that currently buy eggs from our chicken operation. We have 2 15x50 Gothic arch greenhouses also with their own irrigation. We have a significant amount is racking to use for growing transplants in the hoop houses. We have a BCS with all the main attachments, we have greens harvesters and a tilther. We have a jang triple seeder with all the necessary seed plates. We farmed it for 4 years very intensely but then ran into problems during 2021 with the heat dome and some other issues. In 2022 we had to find out her work in order to stay afloat financially so we did not farm it. Our family situation has changed and we will not be actively farming it for at least the next 5 years.

Electricity
Yes - At the moment we use extension cords from the main house for electricity but there is a 200 amp service ready to hook up in the middle of the farm field next to the hoop houses.
Cell Service
Yes - We are in normal cell coverage.
Long-term goal or vision for land
