Farm Project Description
Seasonal veggies, herbs and flowers for 2023. Produce to be sold fresh at local Markets, and option to can and dry for sale at same. Plot rows arranged in 6ths:
1: Melons, cucumbers.
2: Market greens, green onions, root crops.
3. Herbs.
4. Experimental
5. 1/2 fresh flowers, flowers for drying.
6. Tomatoes, peppers, squash
As there is no greenhouse or location for inside starts for this year, the first week for Market-ready crops is estimated to be end May/early June. Additional non-produce items may be sold to enhance market stand appeal and draw in patrons. For example, herb scones and sage bundles made by GH. As season progresses and productivity of site is determined, Farmer will research interest in small CSA boxes and buyers for canned/dried products.
