Cleared and flat land totaling just under 0.5 acres. Nice silty loam soil with the rare fist-sized rock. There is a ditch running along the edge of the land. Well draining, does not flood. There is a dugout for drainage as well. Fully fenced, backing onto the Cowichan Valley Trail. Likely compacted due to former use as cow pasture. Left fallow in 2022.

Develop the land for farming use. Prefer to have someone who understands the principles of regenerative agriculture and integrated pest management. Organic and permaculture fans are welcome, but not required. Please note that we are not exclusively organic on the rest of the property. Would like to build the soil for future use. Someone who wants to develop the land as a system, thinking of outputs and inputs and reducing energy use as much as possible. Would like to collaborate on things like composting, companion planting, and utilizing the ecosystem. It is highly desired to reduce the use of chemical inputs, especially fertilizers.
