Farm Project Description
With Many Microbes Soil Lab, we offer 1) soil consulting services and 2) compost products and soil amendments.
Our mission is to support growers, farmers, farmer education organizations, and land stewards build soil, grow healthy crops, and sequester carbon. We do this by assessing the biological life in the soil; evaluating the resources in the growing ecosystem; and making a plan to ensure healthy soil and access to biologically-complete compost. | We are a couple, Melanie and Jesse, looking for 0.25 to 0.5 acre for some combination of a place to:
- compost in windrows and hoops using thermophilic methods
- store our 10 x 20 shelter with BCS tractor, tea brewery, and tools
- live, in a cabin and/or in our 28-foot travel trailer
- grow small-scale crops for feeding ourselves and community; and to practice soil building methods in demonstration gardens
