State of the surface of the cultivable area
The bulk of the cultivable area is underneath BCH ROWs on a plateau above a lake. As a non-farmer, I can only speculate upon the details of soil condition. It seems to be a bit rocky and drains well. Other property owners in the local area have orchards and vegetable gardens. It would be my desire to improve the condition of the soil with regenerative lands practices such as permaculture.
There are also other smaller micro-climates around the property where the soil types seems to vary. Some is darker and seemingly has more biomass. There are a large variety of natural plants and wildflowers all over the property in their own micro-biomes. There is an ortho-photo survey available for consultation.
