Farm Project Description
The core crop that I would like to produce and sell would be lettuce. There are many varieties of lettuce that can be grown and sold here in BC. Apart from that, I will also be growing other crops in the market garden throughout the year which will depend on various factors such as demand from customers etc.
My main goal/objective in starting this farm is to grow produce locally for my family and for local customers here in the lower mainland. I plan on doing this by growing various crops in a market garden and also leverage technology to grow lettuce and other crops that can be grown using a hydroponics system.
