Farm Name
Farm Project Description
I have many years of farm experience, working with: pigs, sheep, chicken, turkey, and cattle. I've also worked on an organic vegetable farm in the fields, warehouse and office in sales, purchasing and dispatch.
Other skills that I have gained outside of farming are: level 1 carpentry, building robots and apprenticing as a plumber.
My desire is to regenerate nature while raising happy, healthy livestock, creating quality of life and building resilience in the community.
My plan is to start with 3 pasture-raised enterprises: 200 laying hens, 250 meat chickens, a couple pigs and sheep, possibly rabbit. In the future: beef cattle. Also, if possible, I would like a small, no-dig vegetable garden and greenhouse. By the third year, I hope to be running at maximum efficiency and to have increased herd and flock sizes to more substantial numbers.
I am fiercely independent, very industrious, reliable, and ambitious.
