Farm Project Description
For me the possibilities are endless, depending on the opportunity and the land available. I would like to have the option of trying out different crops and freedom to choose what works best for me and the land, also factoring in any perennials that have already been put in place. I am very willing to adapt to market needs and different streams of revenue, selling at market or direct to businesses, potential for an online store or farm stand also. My previous work background has been in the hospitality industry, as such I have many contacts in restaurants in the Sea to Sky. I would like to start the farm small, and hope to let it naturally expand over time as we asses what works best.
My vision is a lot where I can have a small greenhouse for micros and edible flower production, a small outdoor space for perennial herbs, and a shed space for mushroom growing. Any outdoor space would be used as a seasonal market garden and I would also love to plant a large crop of garlic, space permitting.
In my most ideal situation, housing or a space to park an rv would be available, I also keep horses and the potential to have them on site would be a dream.
