Located in Vancouver Island & Gulf Islands Eaac3028 89b4 4139 b696 c70cc5e02cfb
Cresta Roca Farm is a 5 acre permaculture farm located on Gabriola Island, specializing in registered Nigerian Dwarf goats and heritage poultry. The farm is seeking a vegetable or flower farmer and/or beekeeper to make use of about 1/2 acre of land that is still available on the property. This is an opportunity for an experienced gardener / beekeeper who enjoys remote, farm lifestyle on a small Gulf Island, and is keen to explore the farming potential of this land. Must be animal savvy and can enjoy roosters!

Description and historical use of land available for farming

Cresta Roca Farm is home to herds and flocks of animals - goats, horses, donkeys, chickens, ducks, geese, and red wriggler worms. The available land, in 2 sections of approximately 1/4 acre each, is currently unused and in fallow grass. It's not a large space, and it may take some time to develop the growing areas (fencing, etc.) and build soil. The farm has a plenty supply of red wriggler worms and vermicompost to contribute to organic growing!
