State of the surface of the cultivable area
3 acres. It is part of a 5-acre parcel. The landlord wishes to reserve 2 acres for her own use. There is a licensed well on the property so the land has ample water access and is powered by BC Hydro. The landlord is currently growing (on a very small scale) vegetables closer to her principle residence but the rest of the land is not being farmed at all.
Description and historical use of land available for farming
I have limited knowledge of it. The neighbours, however, are either growing fruits and vegetables or boarding horses.

Yes - The lot is north to the road, and I believe there's another road going around it.

Yes - BC Hydro

Long-term goal or vision for land
We hope to learn from the farmer(s) and would like to provide resources to them (i.e. investment in machinery, housing, marketing, etc) to grow with them. It is also our goal to add value to this land. Therefore, we are open to all agricultural activities (as long as deemed suitable for the land and law-abiding). We prefer a mix of market garden and small animals but it is not a requirement.
