This panel discussion features land seeker farmers and farmland holders matched through the B.C. Land Matching Program sharing their experiences leasing land – highlights, lessons learned, and advice for you.
The webinar is approximately 50 minutes long. Participants will learn how farmers find suitable land and assess its fit for their needs, as well as why landholders choose to lease their land. Additionally, the discussion will cover decision-making strategies for farm operations on leased land, managing communication and relationships between farmers and landholders, and provide advice for those entering into land lease agreements.
