State of the surface of the cultivable area
Currently has overgrown grass and weed from no cultivation this summer. Three water faucets have been placed on the land for irrigation.
Description and historical use of land available for farming
We previously leased this area to a young farmer (through Young Agrarians) who used it for 7 years growing a variety of vegetable crops, cut flowers and housed 50 chickens (eggs). Hoop houses were placed for growing tomatoes. They did not use any pesticides.
There are three apple trees and six cherry trees that our previous farmer would harvest fruit from.
There is a small pond that is also on the property.
Long before that, it was used for dairy cattle (probably 50+ years ago, from what we've been told).

Long-term goal or vision for land
We're flexible in terms of what someone wants to use the land for. It was great having our previous farmer transform the land and grow crops on it. We currently keep an acre of space for our home and garden.

Soil details
Unknown - I don't have specifics on soil details other than it's not rocky and the previous farmer did add soil/compost to areas. Drainage seems good. Fairly flat, no major slopes.
