My goal is to grow medicinal and culinary herbs and sell to chefs, herbalists, naturopaths and acupuncturists, as well as the public at markets and online. I'm also considering a CSA program (Community Supported Agriculture). Initially starting on a small scale, 1 acre or less, and expanding as success and capacity allow. The mission is to foster curiosity and delight through small scale food systems, growing plants and relationships that strengthen our community and collective resilience.

Sufficient sunlight, water access. Ideally the land has been cultivated with some kind of crop previously, or grazed. I'm open to obtaining an area that is not immediately ready to plant in and spending a season to prepare the area for planting.

Garlic and medicinal plants typically require less water than vegetables, and can be watered via hose and sprinkler, however a drip irrigation system would be ideal. Heavy mulching can help with water usage.
