The land has a slight northern slope, which increases in grade as it approaches the creek that runs along the northern border of the property.

This property has been in the family since 1975 and was recently logged to provide more sunlight to the landholder's home and existing garden space. Although the site is within the ALR, it has always been heavily forested and not used for food growing, with the exception of a small household garden that grew, vegetables and berries. The landholder currently has 1 acre of fenced area for their dogs and livestock surrounding the home. The remainder of the property is available for agricultural production.
