Farm Project Description
Our family is seeking farm land in the Kootenays to get us going on our Dreams and Passions!
With a passion for growing food, gardening, permaculture and deep appreciation for nature; we are hoping to learn from and steward land. It would be a dream to create products based of off cultivated and foraged plants, vegetables, native and naturalized species. We currently operate a small herbalist business; Dear Skin Topicals & Therapeutics and would love to expand our products to include bulk herbs, medicinal products, sell vegetables, fruit, eggs and preserves. We are pioneers at heart- and see ourselves giving great food and medicine back to our community. Having a farm stand, going to markets, selling to distributers and e-commerce, as well as offering place based education on herbs, growing and all our talents- is the ultimate goal.
We come with knowledge, hard work ethic and charm- not to mention 2 kids, 2 horses, 2 cats and a dog :)
