Description and historical use of land available for farming
**Certified Organic status**
Approximately 1 acre under the BC Hydro transmission lines with a RV pad set slightly back in the trees. There is one tower in one corner of the area, otherwise the ground is clear. It has been maintained by BC Hydro prior to ownership. It was cleared with brush cutter 3 years ago as part of my neighbour developing his farm. On one side of the area my neighbours have a fenced vineyard and other neighbour had a strawberry/vegetable farm. The property that backs onto mine is mixed industry (Supersave Gas/large vehicle storage/mechanic), it is separated by a service road. My neighbour with the strawberry/veggie farm attained organic certification for his farm which includes my property under the powerlines into the certified area. My driveway goes all the way from the street to the powerlines. There is the maintenance road that runs along one side, though access is behind a locked gate (I believe it is possible to get a key if needed).
