Farm Name
Little green farm
Farm Project Description
I am seeking land to start a small-scale, market-oriented vegetable farm focused on sustainable, seasonal production. My goal is to grow a diverse range of vegetables including zucchini, cucumbers, spring onions, potatoes, green snow peas and corn, using organic and regenerative farming practices.
In addition to growing vegetables, I also plan to raise a small flock of chickens to produce and sell organic eggs locally, further contributing to a diverse and sustainable farm operation.
I plan to supply local farmers markets, restaurants, and possibly a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program to increase access to fresh, local produce within the community.
I bring with me 7 years of hands-on farming experience in Australia, where I worked cultivating a variety of vegetables including the crops mentioned above. I am confident in my ability to manage a productive operation and contribute meaningfully to BC’s local food system.
