Farm Name
Valley & Vine Flower and Vegetable Farm
Farm Project Description
A small-scale, eco-conscious flower/vegetable farming project seeking land to cultivate specialty cut flowers for local markets, florists, and events. Our focus is on sustainably grown, seasonal blooms and some vegetables with an emphasis on biodiversity, soil health, and pollinator support. We aim to operate with organic practices (non-certified) and prioritize regenerative farming methods.
Our main goal is to grow a wide variety of flowers - from heirloom annuals to perennial favourites - tailored to the climate and conditions of the Okanagan region. We're also interested in creating habitat-rich buffer zones, incorporating native plants, and potentially developing small-scale agro-tourism experiences such as U-pick days or floral workshops in the future.
We are looking for 0.5–1acre of arable land with access to water and good sun exposure. Ideally, the land would be available for a multi-year lease to support soil development and long-term planning.
