Hello, we are two friends with a shared passion for sustainable living and a combined 30 years of experience in land stewardship. We are looking for a farm opportunity in the area to grow fruits and veggies. We are open to a variety of collaborations including joint partnerships for businesses, land leases and shared space. Our main objective is to farm with organic and regenerative practices. Additionally, we are interested in highlighting opportunities that combine farming with a farm-to-fork dimension. About Dan Legault: After graduating from culinary school in 2003, Dan turned his attention to organic agriculture. He began by learning about fruit tree cultivation in the Okanagan Valley, then spent the next ten years growing food on a 6-acre organic farm in Barrie, Ontario. During that time, he managed his own market garden, ran a successful CSA, and offered catering services using ingredients he grew himself. This hands-on experience not only deepened his practical knowledge of sustainable food systems but also helped shape a personal philosophy rooted in land stewardship, soil health, and community care. About Nadine Hines: Graduated from culinary school in 2008. She then WOOFED on an organic and biodynamic farm in Europe. After going back to school for ecological restoration in 2011, she found the intersection between land stewardship, ecosystem restoration, and growing food sustainability. Nadine owned and operated a mushroom business in the Slocan Valley for two years. Both Dan and Nadine are passionate about food and building ecological food systems in community-oriented ways. We hope to find a great fit that we can build
