Farm Project Description
Amalthea Acres is a small local business that focuses on breeding and raising registered Nigerian Dwarf goats. In addition to fantastic quality stock, we also utilize their milk to create handmade products. Our products are made available to the public through social media and our website as well as personal connections. In addition to our breeding animals we also have an additional two goats who we hope to use as educational tools for schools and clubs, and potentially bring to markets to educate the public on just how fantastic goats can be.
We currently have 5 goats total and a livestock guardian dog. Both our goats and dog are lovely with people. One of our goals is to maintain a very small amount of goats in our herd as we want to be extensively interacting with each animal on a one on one basis to ensure optimal health and happiness.
