Farm Project Description
The Big Little Farm
The Big Little Farm is a charming and growing small scale farm dedicated to sustainable practices, education, and community connection. We proudly produce fresh, free-range duck and chicken eggs, offering a nutritious and ethical option for local consumers. Our passion for learning and sharing knowledge also shines through our educational hatching programs, where children and families can experience the wonder of life from egg to chick. We are also proud stewards of endangered duck breeds, including the Australian Spotted Duck, working in collaboration with preservation groups to help protect and strengthen their numbers through responsible breeding and habitat care.
Our farm is home to thriving apiculture operations, where we cultivate healthy honeybee colonies to support pollination and produce delicious, raw honey. In addition, we grow a variety of vegetable crops, bringing seasonal bounty from our fields to your table.
Looking ahead, The Big Little Farm hopes to expand by acquiring more land to include horse boarding, offering care, space, and companionship for equine friends as part of our diverse agricultural family.
At The Big Little Farm, we believe that small-scale farming can make a big impact on the environment, on education, and on our local food systems.
